Seriously, I'm leaving DA

Dear DA friends,

I'm not leaving because I don't like it here. I love the people here and the comments and the art. I wasn't deprived of anything in my daily experience of DA. However, I lack the time and patience to check this site everyday. I haven't cleaned out my inbox for about two- three months. I also think I outgrew it.

However, there's so much drama here and I don't have the strength to keep up with it all. I'm not complaining about anyone in particular. But I just got sick of hearing about how everyone's life is so much more worse because their hamster died or because they don't get enough comments and/or favorites.

So goodbye for now friends. I'll check from time to time and maybe return someday. But right now, I have no desire to be on DA.
